Crashes after ship launches

After I launch my ships, the game crashes at around 600m up. Opening task manager seems to refresh it though for a few seconds. The game is still running, but it just becomes unresponsive and I need to close the game manually. There is no error report.

Edit: Found the culprit, which appears to be facing the camera towards the ground.
