More Base Parts?

In my opinion there are not many base parts. Installing mods to get base parts might not be something that someone with a not so good PC or laptop do. The loading is way longer and there's a bit more lag. Will Squad add more base parts? hopefully in 1.3. right?

Loading speed or memory has nothing to do with it. A mod part loads just as fast as a stock part and it will have the same memory footprint.

Many people will agree we could use more base building parts in the stock game. And that's probably why this gets suggested at least once a month.

I'd love to see more base parts. In the meantime though, adding a mod with base parts (assuming they're built right) isn't really any more of a burden on your computer than if Squad added a bunch of parts. The mechanism for loading parts is the same rather 3rd party or Stock. The big hit from modding in parts comes from loading in LOTS of parts
