Help please miner wont mine

Hello,

I have  contract to collect 500 ore from the Mun. Thats all just drill it and leave it there. So I built this...

However for some reason the drill won't transfer into the side mounted tanks. The decoupler is set to crossfeed so I'm stuck.

Could someone tell me why this is not working please?

Try having the ore tanks with the drills and after the decupler as the deculper is likely blocking fuel flow and the ore.

Are all of your decouplers set to enable crossfeed?

There is also a setting about "fuel transfer obeys crossfeed rules". This can also block a tank from filling.

Many thanks for the replies. I've fiddled around with this design and still can't get it to work. So I threw it away and built this...

It's fairly close to the design that doesn't work but here I'm using one small holding tank in the stack, rather than radially mounted and then surounded this with radial holding tanks. This works and the pic shows it mining away on Minmus (another simple get this ore contract).

Both designs have a coupler between the drills and the tanks so the only thing I can think of at the moment is that you cannot mount small holding tanks radially. Bit of a pain really.

What's wrong with your original design is that your ore tanks are disabled in their context menus. Activate the ore tanks, and it works just fine.
