Crash flying over northpole

After 150 hours I encountered my first KSP crash while flying my tiny jet plane over north pole at ~10km. I was able reproduce this issue when loading a save game and do the 40-50 min flight there again. Time acceleration was at 4x most of the time before or during the flight over the pole. Over at the support section for consoles someone reported the same issue on PS4.

After posting a few minutes ago and starting up KSP it crashed again. Right after take off. MEH

Edit:

It looks like the highlighter bug, if you toggle the aero overlay on and off the next time you highlight your craft the game crashes, this bug doesn't exist on the consoles.

 

The workaround is to disable the highlighter in flight from the settings screen.

Thanks for taking a look and providing me with this workaround 

I was indeed trying to take a Steam screenshot with default key bindings - F12 which toggled the aero overlay. I also did this on my third attempt near KSC. (forgot to mention that ) - Neat skills. I'm really surprised to get actual customer support enabling me to play the game again the next night. Keep it up
