RSS/RP-0 Caveman challenge

Mission is lunar impact

No facility upgrades

Entries will be judged by tech level required with ties going to earliest date.  Points randomly assigned based off of the impressiveness. 2 categories revert and no reverts

 

I will be reattempting this in a new RP-0 career (failed it in my current career) just to see if I can actually do it.

Does this mean fulfilling the lunar impact contract, or just hitting the moon with something? It would be a lot easier to hit the moon with a dead probe core than a functional probe with batteries and an antenna, especially considering early cores can't shut down and you need 3 or 4 days of power.

@MaxL_1023 Both are acceptable.  That would fall under the impressiveness category.  My first attempt will probably try the shotgun method of spraying a bunch of decouples at the Moon and hoping 1 hits

Alright. Once RSS/RP-0 gets updated for 1.2.1 I will probably give this a try. It will be interesting to do this without the tracking station.

I suspect you may be waiting a while for the whole of RP-0 to become 1.2 compatible...
