Debug Menu not working

I am currently in version 1.2.2 KSP

System Specs:

Intel i7-6700K

32GB DDR4 Ram

GTX 1070

 

The game runs fine but the Debug Menu wont open for me anymore, it was working fine for a while ( I used to use it mostly to test ideas with infinite fuel or no temp damage ) and yesterday it just stoped working, it wont even open.

 

I installed Hyperedit to see if that would replace it but HyperEdit doesnt do what the debug menu can and also cant open the Debug Menu.

Please check your PC doesn't have any software running in background that will intercept the Mod-F12 key combination.

Exactly such a case with the Console Window not working was already found, and trouble could be solved changing the key assignment with the interfering software (it was nVidia's GeForce Experience, your may be something else).

GeForce experience uses ALT+F12 for FPS overlay.

I had the same issue after the new GeForce Experience update. Changing the shortcut allowed KSP Debug menu to function again. Worth checking.

Something else that might work is pressing shift+alt+F12

I have the same problem but when it started, the only change I could think of was switching to a 20(+) yo keyboard, which didn't make much sense to me. In retrospect, that event might well have been coincidental to geforce Experience update. I didn't think of that and I didn't try changing its keybind but holding shift while pressing alt+F12 did work for me.

Moh1336 You were right, I went and reset Gforce to use Alt+\   ( a random key set since I never use it ) and the Debug menu is back in all of its glory
