Setting up my joystick

Recommended Posts

My Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick arrived today. KSP detects the joystick buttons, but can't seem to detect joystick movements.

First, I tried starting KSP from the desktop without the joystick plugged in. No joy. Second, I looked online and found instructions to set it up, and they included having the joystick plugged in before you begin. Still no joy. Is there something more I have to do so the game can detect stick motion? What is it?

I have the same stick and no problems, try plugging in before you turn the pc on then calibrate it in Windows and set it as default before starting ksp.

I've got one of those, it's okay, bit worn though (it's a refurb)

Don't forget that joystick axis will only bind to the 'axis' side of the settings screen, they won't be detected as buttons (pitch down, stage etc), basically the fire buttons only work on the left pane of the settings screen, and the axis only work on the right.

Thank you. I'll go see if I can make it work, now.
