Data value of experiment by Scientist on EVA

Hello, I just discovered that when an experiment is performed from a command module on a vessel it gives 6 times less data for the MPL than doing so by a scientist on EVA. Is this correct?

Say what? No, that should not be correct. They should always be the same. Are you running mods in your copy of the game?

Several mods, but none that adds scientific experiments

In the case of the accelerometer on land the data values are 5 and 30, and in some other experiments it's just 0 and 5

No, that's a bug. The "landed on kerbin" penalty isn't being applied to the scientist for some reason. In any other location, the two values will be the same for you.

That... looks like a notable bug, to me. Need to see if it reproduces in stock first, though.

I have waaay to many mods to test them one by one :S

 

Yeah, it's a bug, when flying high and space low, the data values are in fact, a bit lower instead of higher
