editing the persistent file

ok, had to "kill" Jeb on purpose to check this info, but he agreed it's all for a good cause. When a kerbal is killed, the savegame registers these changes, so guess those are what you need to revert in your save:

(all in the sfs section KERBAL by name = <yourKilledKerbal>):

state = Missing (should be Available)

ToD = <TimeOfDeath> (should be 0; ToD seems to register 7200 seconds = 2 hours more than UT)

idx = 0 (should be -1, but have unclear if that filed holds other info so it may have different values than those).
