Action Groups - configure after VAB (launch)?

Is it possible to configure action groups AFTER leaving the VAB (launching)? I forgot to configure one group and it's annoying to have to click all the items.

Not in stock. The mod ActionGroupExtended is what you need.

Or you can open your .sfs file in a text editor and add them in by hand-- it's not too hard to figure out and reasonably straightforward to retrofit (unlike a lot of stuff in the save file).

Make sure you keep a backup copy of the file, though, in case you munge something!

Another alternative to Action Groups Extended is Default Action Groups:

...it doesn't allow you to edit action groups in flight, the way Action Groups Extended does.  But what it does allow is setting up config files (several sample ones are included) to make it so that certain parts always get automatically added to specific action groups, by default, in the vehicle editor-- that way, you can't forget them.    For example, I always put "toggle solar panels" in action group Custom01, so I've set up the config that way and it just happens automatically.
