AeroPelican
Does anyone know what height a geosynchronous orbit around minmus or the mun is?
UmbralRaptor
N/A, as the altitude of a synchronous orbit around either body would be outside of their spheres of influence. If you want where such an orbit would be if it were possible:http://kspwiki.nexisonline.net/wiki/Minmushttp://kspwiki.nexisonline.net/wiki/Mun
nanowinner
By the way, for any new guys, this is NO LONGER true. You can easily do that. Check out this link: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Minmus and search for a synchronous orbit - 357,94 km.
SkyRender
For all of your synchronous orbit needs, there's a handy tool available: the KSP Orbital Synchronization Calculator. It can even calculate the spacing for multi-satellite arrays in a specific synchronous orbit for you. Quite handy!(Yes, this is a shameless plug for a calculation tool I made.) Pecan
By the way, for any new guys, this is NO LONGER true..It is not suprising that information from more than two years ago is out of date. Please don't resurrect such old threads just to say so.
diomedea
Right, too old thread. If this subject is of interest, start a new thread (or even better, look if a newer and still valid thread already exists). This one is better closed.
