Setting Navigation Assistance

Good evening all.  Quick question about setting navigation.  I am in a plane, and I know how to set navigation to contract locations, but, is there a way to set the navigation for the KSC for the return trip?

You'll probably need KerbNet Access for that. Open it, target KSC, and activate navigation.

Alternatively, you can plant a flag near the runway. Simply target the flag.

1. Check your map. Sometimes there is already a contract waypoint near KSC and you can just target that.

2. Will you be able to land your plane?

If so, there are a couple things you can do. Land, leave your plane, return to the Space Center. Look in Mission Control for a contract near KSC, accept it, and do 1.

Alternately, a very nice method is Abastro's solution -- launch a probe core to the runway. Activate KerbNet on the probe core. Create a waypoint at that spot with KerbNet. Recover the probe core. And target that new waypoint to return to KSC.
