Eagle 1

Recommended Posts

Originally supposed to be a replica of the Falcon 9, the Eagle 1 is perfect for getting to your space stations and load cargo. i haven't tested it yet, but i bet you could get a keostationary transfer orbit out of the lifter.
Uses Mechjeb because i suck at game:-( also note the capsule on top is totally optional. use the actual lifter for what ever u want! :-)  Download- MECHJEB REQUIRED-https://kerbalx.com/Jeb12345/Eagle-1

Eagle 1 (above) cost 55,854 funds and wheighs 99 tons

As it awaits launch 3 launch clams hold it in place. Acording to MechJeb, it has 2882 m/s of delta v in the atmosphere, and 3130 m/s in a vacuum for the first stage alone.

At launch, the single Mainsail engine produces 1381.4 kN of thrust to lift the Phantom 1 capsule to space!

As the vehichle passes the speed of sound, the Mainsail has burned through half of the fuel. Quick stats:Alt:10Km speed:451.6 m/s thrust:1482kN

As things get hot, we await MECO and second stage startup.

At stage sep, the first stage still has some fuel in it, but it's to much whieght to move, so we ditch it

At second stage startup, solar panels deploy and docking port shield opens.

After circularizing, it's time to play the catch up game!

Really close now, lets try not to mess it up.

Aproching the target at 0.2 m/s. solar panels have retracted.

Right next to it!

Docked! Extend all solar panels and start transfering stuff!

Almost done with the transfering stuff.

and after a few orbits,(aka PC crash) we depart and say good bye to Pi-Lab.

Starting entry burn, making sure we land at the pad.

after that, imgur.com stoped working for me, so all that happened was we re entered deployed the parachutes, and touched down next to the KSC.

Good job!

Small tip: you don't have to create a separate album for every picture you wish to share. You can do a bulk-upload. After that just copy the image link and paste it. You can also share the whole album and choose to add comments to every picture in that album.

Thanks for the tip
