After 1.3 Upsate KSP keeps crashing

After 1.3 finished downloading I tried to open but every single time. I need help as soon as possible I can't live without KSP :-p

Hi.

Lots of mods are broken at the moment. Until they are updated for v1.3, your best bet, other than playing stock, is to choose a previous version to download. Steam will let you do that by going into the game properties, opening the "betas" tab and selecting one of the available previous versions, such as v1.2.2. The KSP store will have previous versions available in the list of links. I'm not sure how GOG handles KSP, but your best bet is probably to check the "backups & goodies" page in the Galaxy client, or look for available downloads in your GOG library page.

If you do use Steam or the Galaxy Client to manage your installation, it is also highly recommended to make a copy of the game for modding purposes. You can put this somewhere else on your HDD (c:\ksp for instance) and run it directly, without Steam or GOG waking up and trying to update it. Remember to opt out of any betas once various mods are patched and you're able to run modded v1.3.

Hi, I don't want to make a new thread so I'd just like to also say that after the 1.3 update, my KSP (with mods) has crashed every single time I tried to run it. As mentioned above it's probably due to mods not having been updated yet.

FYI......CKAN is showing Mechjeb compatible with KSP 1.3.9 but it isn't 1.3.x compatible yet, so heads up if you are a CKAN and Mechjeb user. There seem to only be about 6 or 7 mods I've found (that I use) that work.
