Bambou ki plis
I am having a little problem with the Aero-Probe. Are asemblage not break me probème but are looking menu in flight I see written "decouples" But I can not found the area with a decoupler on Aero Probe! While "mini probe" which has the same option of decoupling works perfectlyOtherwise very good job although I pensece not used this mod as I have to!Best regards, Bambou ki Plis Edited July 14, 2013 by Bambou ki plis

ebaydan777
ok so...I get this when I go to launch. My mechjeb button is Red, I have a RemoteCommand on there and a remotetech macrodish sr. I also have mechjeb 2.0.8 on board (AR202 case). But everytime I launch and try to use my mechjeb panels, it doesn't launch, even if i manually hit space. Why is this? It's almost like remotetech has disabled my mechjeb from operating. Here's my setup up top: http://imgur.com/xMi2j6BAnd here's the error on the launchpad. Not so much an error but mechjeb stuck: http://imgur.com/Br5TBwT Edited August 22, 2013 by ebaydan777

It's almost like remotetech has disabled my mechjeb from operating.[…]You need to install at least one omnidirectional antenna, because the parabolic antennae need to be pointed at another antenna and this is only possible when you can control the craft, which you can't because you need to communicate in both directions.FabianPS: You may change your post so we can see the links to the images without replying to you. Kimberly
To expand on that point: if you want a dish-only probe, put an antenna on one of your booster stages. This will allow you to configure the dishes on the launchpad, and you get rid of the dead weight during your ascent.
InteNs
ok so, i've set up an entire network arround kerbin and its mun.it was working perfectly until i noticed that all my sat dishes and antennas magically retracted again(the stock probes, antennas and dishes compatibility)so now my entire space network is down is this a bug or has it to do with my 20 other mods? xZise
Hmmm I'm not sure about the aerodynamics. It may be that dishes opened before leaving the thicker parts of the atmosphere cause to destroy themselves. Also you have to open/link the dish before detaching the lower stage, and compared to the mass of a parabolic antenna, it should be irrelevant. But of course this would be a “dish-only probeâ€Â.Fabian

That might've caused it.Anyhow folks, some dev news. I've attached the flight computer to each individual spu instead of the vessel. If you have multiple, one serves as a master. The advantage of this is that you can preload others with either attitude controls or Progcom assembly and have them execute on decoupling.Ten points for whoever can figure out the most evil application for this. (hint: missiles).I'll also be working with khyperia for a while to implement a DCPU-16 for Progcom, or what is essentially a rewrite of Progcom. CAPFlyer
The least evil is to be able to program a holding orbit or something similar for your launch aircraft when you release your satellite launcher (or alternately program the launcher once it is released)

Kimberly
If you're in a phase orbit, you could program satellites to automatically correct their course to the intended orbit upon decoupling. All you'd have to do is release one each orbit and you'd end up with a perfect constellation. Will the new flight computer allow us to keep focused on/away from our current target, by the way? It'd be lovely for docking, or for telescopes.
DoubleOSeven1
hmmm still programmed on decoupling eh? Sounds like air to ground missiles that are actually accurate!

And yes, you can keep open flight computer windows of other vessels in range.Remind me to add some sort of targeting computer to the ProgCom integration, since you can't currently get any target related data. Kimberly
Say, it is normal that the Aeroprobe doesn't seem to use up fuel when you're using the jet engine? At least, I've never seen any fuel used up on my flights. If this is intended behavior, have you considered giving it propellers and making it run on electricity, instead? That would realistically allow permanent flight, with a few solar panels.

Power is generated by the twin RTGs on either side of the body.

ehlampley42
Does anybody know how to make the UAV Ferram compatible? I know it has to do with coping the section call ferram controllable surfaces but I dont know what each of the values are and I want to do it so Ferram will recognize the complete craft not just the wings. Yuka
I seem to be having troubles with ranges longer than short when using this mod. I've established a primary relay network of 5 satellites in keosynchronous orbit that can all reach mission control and talk to each other and they can talk to space craft I have in place on the Mun. I have a similar network around the Mun that uses omni's to talk to each other and any craft on or near the Mun.The primary relay network, as I said has 5 satellites, each has four 50 Gm positionable dishes, an omni antenna and one 900 Gm dish.I'm now trying to establish another ring of communication satellites outside of the range of the omni antenna (80,000 KM orbit around kerbin) but I'm having all sorts of problems getting them to talk to anything. My delivery ship can talk to my keosynch satellites with no problem but the new ring of communication satellites can't talk to the inner ring. Each of the outer ring sats are each pointed to a pair of inner ring satellites that are on the opposite side of kerbin from each other - that way the outer ring can always reach at least one inner ring. The two inner ring point to the two outer ring satellites that point to them. I've triple checked this. The outer ring satellites are all pointing to the satellite behind and in front of them in the orbit to form a ring between them. The only time I can get in radio contact with them is when the delivery ship (unmanned as well) gets within omni range of these satellites.I'm clueless and I've been scouring the web for hours without much of an answer. I've searched here and on Google without any useful results. What am I doing wrong?
