IConfigNode fields? How to read from part.cfg?

IConfigNode system seems to be the way to input multilayered dynamic constructions, but... I don't get it to work!

What I want: Read this thing from part.cfg to a field of a Part or a PartModule.

What I get:

1) It saves to persistentce if it is a field of PartModule with KSPField attribute

2) It can be read from persistence by calling it's Load method from PartModule

3) None of this works if this is a field of a Part

4) It still refuses to read from part.cfg

Anybody has any any idea on what I'm doing wrong or should I return to separate configs and custom parsers again, because this thing doesn't work?

OK, got this. It must be PartModule, it must call Load method of the field in onLoad and then you can get the thing from part.partInfo.partPrefab.Modules
