Game is crashing just before main menu pops up

if its 1.3 or better the only real crashes are mod related. so as they suggest remove 50% and test till you have no crashes..adding backwards with the removals that made no difference during the tests will isolate who at fault..

I have had no issues with any 1.3.1 mod that has been updated. I have tied most of them. so it is probably best to just start fresh and add updated mods only at first

@Jammer-TD thanks for replying, I did pretty much that: deleted all my mods after game updated, downloaded fresh and updated mod installs and installed them along with modmakers instructions. I'm familiar with your idea of troubleshooting, did it yesterday and it happened to be Texture replacer replaced, that caused the crash. Yet after installing mods back (without TRR), I got stuck with the same problem. I hoped someone skilled with logfiles could save me from going through mods again.

Looked at your output and it tells me that the lock up is happening while USI is loading custom configs

Try removing that and if doesn't fix your problem then O will need to see your KSP.log (found in the main KSP directory above KSP_x64.exe)
