Google says "18 U.S. dollars = 11.4678899 British pounds"

If you type (number)USD in GBP into google it converts Dollars to pounds automatically, I use it all the time.

Exchange rates fluctuate, and the above is probably more current, but I bought it just the other day and PayPal worked it out to be a touch under eleven quid.

OK, my mistake, I checked my PayPal history and on the 7th of this month it cost £11.90.

As above though exchange rates change, but it won't affect the price by more than pennies either way....

IIRC, Pay Pal adds a little extra on top when it has to do a conversion... or something. So whatever google says, Pay Pal will charge a bit more.

Something I found recently as well, if you use a Debit card for overseas transactions, your bank may apply a £1 fee.
