RayneCloud
Anything with "Kerman" in it will be banned from being used in the coming days, if your username contains this Keyword, you have 7 days to request a user name change in writing to the community management team. This must contain the new requested user name, and a valid birth date. As a note, we may ban the usage of other non-valid user names in the coming days as well, but this change shouldn't affect any current users as it's mostly banning inappropriate language in user names. RayneCloud
As a note, the usage of "KSP" or "Kerbal" or "Squad" in users names will be banned as well.
Luigibro606
Is there a particular reason 'Kerman' is considered inappropriate language?Edit; or 'Kerbal'?Squad and KSP I can understand; as members may believe them to be part of the Dev team, but I wouldn't have thought it'd be the case with Kerman or Kerbal. RayneCloud
Use of the "Kerman" name in a user name is not, inappropriate language, it just gives the image of an "official" status. Thread locked.
HarvesteR
Hi,Just wanted to add something else here. The main reason we are banning these words from user names is that, for instance, "{Something} Kerman" and such are very sought-after names, and at the moment, we have over 40 member accounts called "{Something} Kerman", most of them being variations of "Jebediah Kerman". You can readily see the potential for confusion this creates. For that and the reasons Damion mentioned, we decided here that the only course of action that is fair for everyone is to ban these names altogether. So, if you're one of the members affected by this new rule, we apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you understand the necessity behind our decision.Cheers
