I've connected a ps4 controler to my pc and win10 thinks it has to use it as a sound device...
tater
Countdown now green (and holding). Issue was one of three ground radars (for range control) down, apparently they decided 2 was enough. Counting down again.

tater
Posted this in the wrong thread, lol: Liftoff. Another boring launch (to watch). SRM sep. They have onboard cameras, but don't use them. Dumb. They showed SRM sep live from camera, then went to CG.
RedKraken
heh .... 1.67 twr off the pad for a ~800 tonne vehicle. Interested to see Arianne 6 ... 2020 is not that far away. And prometheus engine. But all eyes will be on BFS .... NewGlenn.... and chinese reuse rocket attempts......
Scotius
Isn't it sad? ESA and Arianespace are lagging behind US companies and Chinese space agency. Shame.

The microphone from the Vulcain camera also is awful, the worst being that the C.N.E.S. YouTube channel is always recording a way better sound. Also, as you wrote, they are re-serving the same dish to us since late 2013 (VA215)... and still no Vega on-board camera!
tater
Old video, but this should have been the live coverage yesterday. Data on the launch (graphs, velocities, etc?) should be in a small window within this---assuming they want anyone to ever bother to watch. CGI? Nah, I'd rather play KSP (besides, every launch with a full screen CGI causes me to try and drag the view around, lol).
