Contract: Speed seems right but not checked?

I'm hauling the RT-10 hammer into flight, has to be between 64,000 and 67,000 meters, at a speed of between 490 and 550 m/s.  

It appears I've fulfilled these requirements, but the speed box isn't checking, what might be wrong?  Currently my altitude reads 64,773, my speed reads 522.9m/s.  (It says Orbit, is that it?)  All other boxes are checked: "Have RT-10 'Hammer'...", "Kerbin", "Flying".
