Early Adopter Of KSP - DLC Question.

Morning,

I have bought KSP around May - June Of 2013 as you can see in the screenshot attached however I have a question because I had not bought it on steam but transferred it with a key given to me by the old KSP website,

My question is what does 'Kerbal Space Program - Early Adopters' mean?

Also maybe it might help I bought KSP from the old website before it was on steam, when It came on steam I was given a key and transferred the game onto steam.

Am I eligible for the Free Making History DLC by any chance, I'm no pinch purse but it would be interesting to know, thanks.

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion will be available for $14.99 (USD) on PC. And yes, we’re keeping our promise that all players who purchased the game through April 2013 will receive the expansion for free. We’ll provide more details on how that will work before launch.

Stay tuned for more news and exciting updates about Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion.

Happy launchings!

I´m sorry to tell you that you bought it 3 months late for getting it free!

Unfortunately, the announced cut-off deadline was April 2013.  So that being the case you wouldn't qualify for a free copy of the DLC.

I think the KSP Early Adopters on that screenshot may refer to anyone that bought it in Early Access prior to v1.0, but I could be wrong.

This is the correct answer.
