Sounds good, however I cannot work on this project much anymore, far too busy with stupid reality. xD I will try to work on it more later, but as you might've already noticed by my posts, I'm not doing much.

When I saw the X1, I was reminded of my own rocket that I built quite a while ago, it's just like the X1, except with more fuel tanks. The launcher I made for it could only be flow by mechjeb because of the lag. Reaches 100 km orbit around Kerbin and still has 24 full fuel tanks in the external stages, I would probably do some modifications to it in 0.17.
