Presenting the Wisp Mk3, a versatile, multi-role aircraft that combines long range with bone snapping manoeuvrability.

Cruising at Mach 2 at 15,000m and above it's possible to get around 6 hours of flight time with a maximum speed of Mach 3 using afterburners.

Extremely low wing loading mean stall speeds of around 30m/s and the ability to take off from most back gardens.

OWNERS MANUAL:

This craft was designed and developed in 1.3.1 but to the best of my knowledge it should work in the latest version.

A joystick is highly recommended and the SAS should be left on by default.

Unlike many of my designs the craft is flown from a command pod located in front of the materials bay.

When cruising using an autopilot (Pilot Assist, Mechjeb etc...) it's recommended to disable the control surfaces/gimbal and rely exclusively on the crafts reaction wheel.

The SAS can struggle to hold the heading when flying at extremely high speeds using the afterburners. In this case it's sometimes worth disabling the SAS and flying free-hand.

Due to the very buggy landing gear and the fact that the craft doesn't have ladders (too much drag), it's recommended to fold the gear in when quick saving/loading or parking the vessel.

Using the airbrakes at low speeds can result in loss of control!

Enjoy! :D
