Would someone be so kind to tell me the meaning of "beyond ken"?

"To ken" means "To know"

"I dinnae ken" means "I don't know"

"Beyond ken" means "Beyond knowledge"

So ken is not someone's name, it means as a noun, a person's knowledge, and as a verb it means to know.

Flashes of colour and roars of noise,

Sparks of light and glimpse of poise;

I fly free and straight and true,

Watching for things to pursue.

Dancing 'cross the midnight sky,

I wander twixt object and eye;

See me once and see me 'gain,

Find me 'fore I'm beyond ken.

Lives a-threatened, courage burned,

Walking, waiting, long since spurned;

Find my claws enshrouded in shadow,

See my calls emblazoned on flow.

What am I?

The Internet!

It seems to be some sort of electromagnetic signal that affects humans, either directly (e.g. light beam) or that eventually gets converted to a form that will (e.g. 3G transmissions). I couldn't see anything to narrow it down further so I plumped for something that uses all of them.

Is it... Love?

Okay, maybe imagination? Dreams?

Nope :)
Is it justice?
Nope :)

Well, not exactly. Properly, "ken" is "the range of knowledge or sight". It can be said that your "ken" is the most you will ever know, or the most you can see at any one time. As a verb, it is always "to know", however. It's an unusual word in that respect. "Beyond ken" can mean merely out of sight, or beyond the limits of your own understanding or knowledge.

Everyone's still rather too literal, I think :)

The launch and operation of a communications satellite?

Flashes of colour and roars of noise,

Sparks of light and glimpse of poise;

The rocket's launch

I fly free and straight and true,

Watching for things to pursue.

Flying into orbit

Dancing 'cross the midnight sky,

I wander twixt object and eye;

See me once and see me 'gain,

Find me 'fore I'm beyond ken.

Many satellites are civible from orbit, and space can be considered a place beyond human knowledge at this time.

Lives a-threatened, courage burned,

Walking, waiting, long since spurned;

No clue whatsoever, I think it might be a military satellite and these are the weaponry systems?

Find my claws enshrouded in shadow,

See my calls emblazoned on flow.

The thing itself would be in fairings, and it's a communications satellite to is makes "calls".

Neither of those. You guys are still thinking far too literally.

Here it is again.

Flashes of colour and roars of noise,

Sparks of light and glimpse of poise;

I fly free and straight and true,

Watching for things to pursue.

Dancing 'cross the midnight sky,

I wander twixt object and eye;

See me once and see me 'gain,

Walking, waiting, long since spurned;

Find my claws enshrouded in shadow,

See my calls emblazoned on flow.

What am I?

Think not out-of-the-box, but inside the sine curve, if you catch my meaning.
