This community is amazing

(Apologies if this should be in the Lounge, but as it's about the community this seemed like the right place to put it).

Last week I made a post on my mod threads explaining that my computer had died and I was struggling to get the money together to replace it, so wouldn't be able to update any of my mods for a while.

Since then, I've had people donating money to me on Paypal and Patreon, and private messages from people saying "Hey I've got xyz component I'd be willing to give you".

I won't mention any names, as I feel like this would be bad form, but considering that I am just a stranger on the internet, I've been blown away by the generosity that you guys have shown me, I really appreciate it. Thanks to you guys I've managed to get a deposit down on a new machine that I can pay off over 12 months and it should be coming next week.

I can't really find the words to express just how grateful I am, I know we all have little spats and lively debate, but the community really came through for me in my hour of need, and I am proud to be part of it.

I guess I'll just finish by saying thank you to everyone.
