My KSP .16 acheivments

I just wanted to throw this up here for others to see, and if you like, feel free to add your own.

Most of these were done in .16, but I have one from .15 as well.

This is a drop pod I made in .16, and has a great survival rate for kerbals (Shocking?), and it makes an appearance in some of my rescue missions

My first time successfully visiting and landing at the second KSC

Well this is completely stock, back in .15, but something went wrong on takeoff. I ended up going approximently 24.7 times the speed of light

This spaceplane, the Nithens Mk1, was my first spaceplane that visited the mun, that was actually able to return

This monster of a craft took many tries, a lot of revision of the design, and frustration to get into orbit

Uh oh....

This was the first, and only building currently in my Mun colony

Does a building flying through space look odd to anybody else...?

The tower had gained the new top part as it was a completely different launch, the previous photos are of different towers

Well, it should be clear by now im a Halo fan, so I attempted to build a ship, with a fully traversable inside, and name it after a ship in the game which it looks nothing like,

Its ugly from the outside, but on the inside it is actually quite nice, albeit the lag. Sorry, but no pictures of the inside currently.

Along with my Mun colony I was intent upon creating, I decided that I needed more colonists

It looks like we have a problem...

So after an eventual landing, with the ship fully intact (surprise surprise), I looked into the ship bay, and it appears that there is a 0% chance of survival in the current version, due to everything going on rails during warp, as my kerbals had slipped through the walls.

One of my missions I had decided to undertake was a flight to the north pole, and later to the south, but unfortunantly I had taken no pictures of the latter

So far, I have created two of what I consider space stations.

The first, Gettysburg Space Station

I had used the tiniest engines possible, because they had the highest specific impulse within a vacuum, which I understand is something like fuel efficiency, the higher the better, but it also made for a tough time getting it into an orbit.

The Inspiration Space Station however, was much easier.

And it looks like we had a bit of a problem upon quickloading...

I had delivered this monster of a rover to the Mun, but almost immediately, brought it back home. It handled terrible there, so I decided to throttle up to max, and leave. I ended up losing one of the back wings, and ended up with a unevenly weighted craft, but I still made it back.

This was my only picture of it, a test version where I was using swept wings instead of delta wings on the back, while it was crashing on the launchpad

So far, I believe this is the largest craft I have ever gotten into orbit, but the easiest oddly, possibly due to using the spaceplane parts.

Near halfway up the craft, you can see the ship compared to the size of a kerbal

This was actually just a testing of the current ship, but as it had made orbit, I decided to keep it up there. Once I am done with the Epitah, it will most likely be much bigger and responsive

So these are all of my current .16 accomplishments, and my one amazing (to me atleast ) .15 accomplishment. I hope you like it, and thank you for browsing through my personal feats in KSP

*Edit: As for some of the craft, the time at which you execute the different stages is key, on some I think

With the Nithens Mk1, if you use it, the second stage must be activated once your velocity starts dropping, and the air-breathing engines must be turned off at around 20-25 %. Its meant to go straight up like a normal rocket, and well... Land on the mun with wheels.. If you can do it

How the heck did you put that spaceplane down on the Mun on and get back again! Since it does not look like a VTOL.

Yep, il upload the craft files right now!

Bsalis: Having trouble with quotes but, I used a design from one of my previous spaceplanes which could make it there, just not back. I added a bit more fuel than what the other design had, and some air-breathing engines to compensate for the extra fuel.

Edit: Seems I can't have more than 5 .Crafts in one post.

I think you mean the landing, right? I see two ways but have only achieved the easier of them, that being to put Mechjeb landing auto pilot on and then just before touching down hitting W to level it out while turning off Mechjeb. The second is pretty much a standard plane landing but backwards/ in reverse if you know what I'm saying.

It was more of burning when the ship was pointing in the right direction during a crazy spin It was very ridiculous
