If I buy the game do I get all future updates free?

Yes, like in Minecraft , But remember that future (after releasing final version) expansions etc. are NOT included.

IHMO, it's not too much thinking about this... just buy and be happy .

the way i look at it is, if you buy this version, it helps ensure there are future versions to get

If they charged for an update at the right time(1), at the right price(2), with the right content(3), I'd totally pay for it.

(1)Preferably after the game is released.

(2)Maybe something around $5-$10

(3)New missions, new planets, new solar system, maybe even a brand new campaign.

please dont make this one of those games that you have to either pay for a limited subscription, or for extra content. that kinda bullcrap gets on my nerves.
