KSP Log Error Question: " Material doesn't have a texture property '_MainTex' "

I'm seeing this error come up in my KSP.log file quite a lot: 

Material doesn't have a texture property '_MainTex'

Can someone help explain what this is doing? It's adjacent in the logs to a wide variety of mods, so it looks like not any one specific mod is causing this or an interaction between mods.

Is there something that can be done to resolve it? Or is it just harmless log spam?

There are several Google results related to Unity, but I don't really know anything about Unity...

Wierd. What mods are you using? Is it affecting your gameplay?

So far it doesn't seem to affect gameplay, but it definitely comes up a lot in my logs. I was just reviewing my latest from today, and the error seems to come after several different mods (KISS, FSHangarExtender, TransferWindowPlanner, TACFuelBalancer) but it seems to often precede Kerbal Alarm Clock.

Now I'm wondering, does this have something to do with KAC? Maybe @TriggerAu (who manages KAC) might have an idea what this references?
