Parts don't sort correctly by mass

Recommended Posts

To reproduce:

Start new sandbox game on a clean install.

Sort fuel tanks by mass.

Watch how an empty large ore tank that weighs like 3 tons is mixed in with full fuel tanks that weigh 60 Tons....

Some parts are sorted by wet mass and some parts are sorted by dry mass.

Is there a fix for this?

It gets way out of hand when you start adding part mods that have various command modules with a lot of fuel, or tons of fuel tanks.....but it is present with no mods on a clean install....

The fuel tank is full of fuel, I believe it is comparing empty mass.

I get what is happening, but it kind screws everything up if the game by default sorts some parts by wet mass and some parts by dry mass. It should either be all one way or the other. Many mods add parts that come with supplies or command modules that hold more fuel than typical stock parts. This causes everything to get all jumbled up and makes sorting by mass not possible.
