Sun light is acting odd like it's obstructed

I'm having an issue where the sun appears as if it's obstructed by something when it isn't. I try saving/reloading or switching to other crafts, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I tried a fresh install of KSP (delete KSP folder from Steam directory too) and it still happens on all saves.

Mods are KER, RPM, SVE/EVE/Scatterer. This only started today (in the past it's been working fine)

Did you get a fresh version of the mods as well?

My best guess would be a scatterer issue...do you mind uploading a log as well? Preferable the output_log.txt, so if there is nothing obvious to find, we can ping someone who might know an answer

Yes I did a fresh install of the mods, redownloading everything (I don't use CKAN, and have been manually downloading mods now since 1.0.5).

I noticed it first happened Jul 29, two days after the 1.4.5. patch, I hadn't noticed it for any of the other 1.4.X versions as far as I am aware.

Probably a compatibility issue but I haven't updates to 1.4.5 yet, so this is just a wild guess....

I cannot find SVE or the stock configs for EVE in your log, so did you forget to install it, removed it for testing or accidentally installed it wrong? Apparently, I'm blind...found SVE^^
Anyway, the scatterer sunflares are applied to your sun, so right now I have no idea how to fix it.

Probably @Galileo knows an answer?

Ya, sometimes the flares would load but sometimes they wouldn't. In my screenshots folder the earliest incident I have of a "dim sun" is Jul 29, a couple days after the release of 1.4.5., so I imagine it's an issue specifically with that patch.

For me lately the ocean has been pitch black at night outside the KSC.

I know scatterer is the mod causing this.

Galileo claims it is intended, but I don't recall this being the case before 1.4.5.

I think scatterer is in need of an update...

It's supposed to be black at night. There are other mods that add glistening with the Mun, but right now there is no lighting from reflected surfaces like Mun onto the oceans
