Competition between those who want to learn and those who know

I myself believe that competition exist between the new modelers and the advanced ones, or maybe sorme sort of recognition. What do you think ?

Not sure what you mean.. people doing mods usually do different things to each other..?

I've never seen experienced addon devs dissing new ones. Do we help each other improve? Yes. Do we compete? Not that I know of.

roarke, there is no competition between add-on developers, there may be some incompatibilities between add-ons themselves but these are usually fixed in due course.

Also, please reword your posts in this thread so they make more sense, myself and others are finding it difficult to understand you and your posts here are verging on Rule 3:

I don't really think the kind of competition you're talking about really fits forums... Seems a bit better fit to some sort of "Steam Workshop" kind of repository with like, featured addons. Probably isn't that feasible at the moment, given the relatively limited number of addons.
