Clean install, no other mods, RasterPropMonitor won't load in-game

Recommended Posts

KSP: 1.5.1.2335 Windows 64bit

Problem: RasterPropMonitor mod won't load in-game even on fresh install with no other mods.

Mods installed:

RasterPropMonitor 0.30.5

Module Manager 3.1.1

Reproduction steps:

Clean install, place modulemanager and JSI folder in gamedata folder. Load game. No pop ups, errors or otherwise. Create new sandbox save. Load solely a crewed Mk1-3 command pod (EDIT: Or any other pod) on launchpad. Hit view on Pilot screen bottom right hand corner. Still showing stock componants inside.

RPM does not include any IVA for the MK3-1 pod, IIRC.

I dont know if anyone has made a modded IVA for that pod yet, since its relatively new (introduced in 1.4.0).

RPM does not automatically get added to *every* IVA... RPM is ust a set of props and controls, by itself... MOARdV doesnt make the IVAs himself, other than the few he uses for testing and devving RPM... Its up to other modders to create custom IVAs using RPM.

Also, RPM relies heavily on a couple of the ASET packs... as stated in the RPM OP.

So basically, you need to search for an IVA made by someone else, for the Mk3-1, that uses RPM...(or MAS)

Also, there are *MANY* moar IVAs made by other modders, than the few that are listed in the RPM OP... you ust have to search the forum to find these other IVAs

Thanks for your reply. In the video posted on the RPM forum thread it shows the MK1-3 which has rpm componants. And in my case, no other pod for that matter has RPM componants.

If you mean the video in the OP of the RPM thread: That's actually the MK 1-2 Pod, which is still in the game, but hidden. The easiest way to access it anyway, is to open the advance mode in the editor which provides a part list with many deprecated parts.
I'm not quiet sure which IVA mod was used in the video, but this MK1-2 IVA version is really cool, I used it for quiet some time in 1.4.3:

(Pay attention to the requirements, you have to install ASET_Props and ModuleManager as well)
