Best radio stations in the Anglosphere?

So I discovered this site radio.garden which has radio stations from all over the world. It would be great if someone could suggest the best radio stations where they are from. Nevermind the genre, I like exploring into the wilderness when it comes to music :D

My favorite local station: http://radio.garden/live/chilliwack/the-drive-cwhk-fm/

When I head into the city: http://radio.garden/live/vancouver/cfox/ Their jingle claims to be "World Famous" but when the dj's called around the world they were proven wrong...

Those are my favorites in the region, that radiogarden picks up.  What it doesn't pick up...

Sometimes I can pick up 92.9 KISM out of the Seattle region on the radio, as I drive to work. Another station in the city I like is 96.9 Jack FM, but radiogarden doesn't seem to pick it up. I guess they only stream on the Radio Player Canada app.

As you can tell, I tend towards rock, preferably classic. But some of the new stuff is okay too, until CFOX overplays it.

The one radio station I ever find myself listening to: http://radio.garden/live/troy-ny/wmht-fm-wrhv/

And, of course, I have to plug WRPI (even though I don't listen to them): http://radio.garden/live/troy-ny/wrpi-91-5-fm/

More out of institutional loyalty than anything, but they do have a pretty big broadcasting area and highly varied content. Most of it isn't really my thing, but then again neither is most of the stuff that plays on the radio around here.

Troy NY.  I have to chuckle;  Ages ago, the girls from HVCC were referred to as 'Troylettes'.  Yes, I lived and went to school in upstate.

As for radio?  We've a lot of FM stations around here; Between NYC and Philly and NJ's own homegrown, there's plenty to pick from... all manner of genre.  When I want to change things up a bit, I have a tendency to listen to SomaFM's Groove Salad (out in Cali), just because.

I've often listened to Omrop Fryslân, but that's in Dutch/Frisian...

English ones, I've tried doing BBC 1 and BBC 2, but they're boring. BBC Scotland is a delight of it's own, though can sound a bit too fanciful. LBC, now that's a gammen pot. Personally I want to hear BBC World Service, but directly from a long-, medium- or short-wave radio.

Other languages I've done listening is RÚV Rás 1 and 2, which is in Icelandic - Rás 1 is just your standard modern radio (not sure what was up with sad christmas songs, which I notice on all radios that does them, which made me stop listening to them), but sometimes they do norse mythology stuff on Rás 2. I'm just much more interested in the language side - another one I partly remember was a russian folk song radio, but I don't remember the name !

Tuning in to the Duga radar are we? lol

Whoops ! I thought those are long enough, but your standard FM radios are far shorter it seems !

BBC does have a longwave service - 198 kHz. Airs BBC World Service at night; BBC Radio 4 at day.
