Hello.

My name is Luc: just introducing myself. I stared playing the game a few weeks ago. I'm most widely known as a sci-fi lego builder and I'm writing a novel. While I am just having fun playing the game, I have found it a great tutorial in terms of the basics of spaceflight, something which is definitely influincing how I make it work in my story.

I play on a 10 year old Macbook Pro which hangs in there... just, and I'm still working through career mode which I'm enjoying as if gives me time to learn what I can do with new parts as I unlock them.

Hello Cylbruda (or Luc, if you prefer), and welcome to the KSP Forum!

Both career mode and science mode (everybody ignores science mode) are very good for introducing you to the game in a measured way.

The learning curve is steep, but there are a great many friendly and smart people here willing to help you learn.

If you get stuck or need advice about the game don't hesitate to ask either here or in gameplay questions. 

We also have an excellent community of authors that are happy to assist your writing with good scientific advice if you need it.

I just googled sci-fi lego and I'm amazed at the creativity involved.  Care to share some pics of your creations?  I'm sure all us rocket nerds will appreciate it.
