Cannot repair OP-E Large Scanning Arm

Situation: Landed on Eve With a Rover and a ship. During landing the OP-E Large Scanning Arm on the rover broke. Have both a Scientist and an Engineer near it. Neither of them are able to repair the arm.

What I expected: While controlling the Engineer, right clicking on OP-E Large Scanning Arm and being able to select "Repair".

If this part is not meant to be repairable that's fine, but it seems like a bug to me.

Welcome to the forums @Hasrinaxx. Afaik, engineers can only repair lander legs and wheels. Have you repaired other types of parts before?

Hi, welcome to the forums.

In the pop-up text for a 5-star engineer (in a career save) it says:

Provides repair skills:
Repack Parachutes
Repair Landing Legs
Repair Wheels
[...]

So I guess scanning arms are not meant to be repairable. Like solar panels etc.

(That also feels logical to me: if you break a delicate scientific instrument then it takes a lot more effort to fix it than it takes to fix a flat tire.)
