Can not deploy ground experiments anywhere!

Hey, I have a totaly unmodded install of ksp 1.7.2 with both dlc expansions. My issue is that I can't put the ground experiments on the ground. I can put them in the storage container, and transfer them to the kerbals inventory, But with any of the ground experiments in any of the kerbals inventory, there is no option to deploy them, either when right clicking on the kerbal, or when draging the experiment out of there inventory and on to the ground. What is going on here? I would appreciate any response.

In the lower right of the Kerbal's inventory slot there is a small icon. Click this and an on-screen message should appear asking you to press space to place the item.

Also, scientists needed to deploy the science.

I think you may find any Kerbal can deploy them but you will get more science from the experiments if they are deployed by a scientist.

I use the xbox one version with both dlcs and also cannot place science experiments. I play Sandbox mode is this the reason why they wont work?

It should not. On PC (Linux) you can deploy the science experiments also in sandbox mode. You just don't get any science from them. (Might be that they immediately shut themselves down.)
