My "Making History" 1.6.1 will not load into KSP 1.7.2

I bought Making History about a year ago, and it worked great. 

I stopped playing KSP for a while. 

When I started KSP about a month ago, it was upgraded to version 1.7.2.2556. 

When it was loading a message appeared:

"Making History: Expansion Version [1.6.1] isn't a valid version that can be loaded! Minimum [1.7.1] Maximum [1.7.1]"

 

Do I have to buy "Making History" every time KSP is upgraded, or is there a free upgrade for "Making History"?

You do need to upgrade Making History to 1.7.1. If you already own a copy, then the upgrade is free.

Thanks for the info, Just Jim.  Say, is there any chance you can walk me through the "free upgrade" procedure?  I can only see how to re-buy "Making History", but I don't see any clicks for upgrading.

Go into your account first... the one you used to purchase Making History. Then go to the Making History page, and you should be able to download it from there.
