How can I deploy an unmanned aircraft from a mothership

I have been trying for a while, but no I could not come up with a solution for this. I'm new to this game. just a fey days since I downloaded ksp, I'm tying to do quite ambitious projects for my level of experience.
 Because of this I need your help. 
Now for a question:
 How can I deploy a controllable unmanned aircraft from a mothership?

 I'm trying to make the bigger plane at the bottom be romtely controlled by the smaller one on top.

You can add another mod that allows you to control two craft at the same time.

But otherwise, the base game is only designed to allow control of a single craft in the atmosphere.

If you’re new to the game you may not know you can switch between controlling the two planes with the [ or ] keys. 

But as bewing says above, you can only be controlling one at a time, the other one will just continue flying straight until you switch back to it. With a bit of juggling you can keep switching between both and possibly even land both if you’re good enough haha. But you have to keep them relatively close to each other (can’t remember how far) cos if they get too far away from each other you lose the ability to switch between them.
