Welcome! I'm from india too, though I live in sweden, but there's one thing to think of when landing on any body, the altimiter shows how high above the lowest part of the planet you are, so make sure to keep that in mind as you might be landing on mountains, that was my first problem when landing on the mun, I was going to start my burn at 2 km, but I was moving towards a 1.6 km mountain so I crashed, but now, I've landed there several times, as with pretty much everything else in life, it gets easier when you know the trick.

Indeed, very cool, cool as in I froze to death cool, because god it's cold over here, but then again, I'm polar bear for a reason, althogh I'm not the most polar bear friendly person, it's not really possible when you like cars, with big engines.

You'll be alright, I had no idea how to get into orbit at first, I got frustrated and cheated by watching tutorials on youtube about orbital manouvers, so now I've been to mun and minmus, although I guess I killed like. 30 kerbals before a successful landing, you'll get there eventually, and in the next version you'll have better ingame tutorials to help you out, so don't worry.

Another tip: We have an absolutely fantastic modding community, whom have released many wonderful parts and mods for you to utilize in the destruction of your poor Kerbonauts. Check out the Addon Releases forum! I recommend the Novapunch Remixed pack, and the Cart mod, which adds a couple of useful rovers.
