More flexible control over savegame type when creating new

But it would be cool to toggle anything when creating savegame, not when it created.

You can change starting values when creating a new save (for example, giving yourself enough funds and science to max out the research centre and research tree)

But it doesnt completely removes game mechanics

Yes. I'm really fed up with science points as tech currency. I too wish I could disable it and use funds to research the tree instead.

But being able to disable on enable specific aspects in the savegame is better anyways, isnt it? Also, as i think, its easier to code.
Oh, also these three savegame types can be left as savegame settings presets
