Non-Magic Tech engine suggestions

So aside from the revealed tech, what would you like to see in the game that would be realistic.

So I'd say:

Air augmented rockets:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air-augmented_rocket

Nuclear thermal turbojets, ramjets:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Pluto

A sort of super-nuclear rapier type engine: "Nuclear thermal turborocket with air augmentation":

https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2015/07/nuclear-thermal-turbo-rocket-with.html

A good old LANTR engine:

http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/enginelist2.php#ntrsolidcore

Additional thoughts? Is the "Nuclear thermal turborocket with air augmentation" a bit too much?

Yes, give the kerbals more nukes, that's always a good idea! XD

Antimatter and Black Hole engines as an extremely late-game thing could be added.

Also, basically everything shown in here: https://imgur.com/a/9q74GFS

They've said no magic tech or no tech we can't realistically get to soon. Both those are severely decades possibly century or two away.

Is a VASIMR in? If it isn't it ought to be.

We believe it is.

I would like to see more variation in SRBs, and maybe different fuel type of SRBS such as aluminum oxide and graphene oxide foam
https://phys.org/news/2019-04-hybrid-energy-method-fuel-future.html
Graphene foam can delivery a lot of power at a net-gain weight to thrust ratio.
Super power SRBs for first stages like an Ares I derivative

NERVA \ LANTR - Useless engine.

Anything worse than this engine.
РезÑлÑÑÐ°Ñ Ð¿Ð¾ÑÑÐºÑ Ð·Ð¾Ð±ÑÐ°Ð¶ÐµÐ½Ñ Ð·Ð° запиÑом "open cycle gas core reactor"

Well or this
Резла пок зобажен за запиом "closed core cycle engine"

useless trash

Need more core temperature! and deltas of at least 40,000 m / s.

Spoiler

ps

And why do you take all the information from this site? There is so much water ...

It's redundant. A turborocket is already air-augmented, adding additional ductwork wouldn't really help. :)

I'd love to see some high-end MPD engines. For high Isp applications, nuclear-electric MPDs are a good concept that retains reasonable thrust while still being fairly efficient. They also work great as RCS thrusters.
