AHHans Posted September 1, 2019 Share Posted September 1, 2019 I believe that the "RTS-1 Resource Transfer Station" and "JS-1 Joint Socket" are part of a mod that you are using. They are definitely not parts from the Breaking Ground DLC. So I'd suggest that you ask this question in the sub-forum for that mod. But at a guess I'd say that these parts are there to move resources between two different (not-docked) vessels and that they cannot be used to move resources between different parts of the same vessel.
