Can't update to 1.7.3 on steam

I want to install expansion packs but is not compatible with 1.7.2 or earlier versions, I cant get a more recent version through steam. Is there another way to update the game?

1.7.3 is the latest current version.

To select it you need to Opt out of all betas in Kerbal Steam Library Properties:

After you opt out wait a bit but you can also try Verifying the local files from the same menus just in case.
