Traction control limits Wheels Motor Power?

I was wondering if this is how its supposed to be.When you change Traction Control you also throttle limit the wheels motor.

Is that how its supposed to be?Sry i am very newbie in rovers/wheels etc.

Yes, traction control is not all that useful. It prevents your wheels from slipping by applying brakes and throttle limits. I usually turn it off completely.

You may be thinking about Friction Control instead? That's a much much more useful control for any rover -- that one makes your wheels stick to the ground much better.

Oh ok, Friction control, need to check it out, i though traction and friction was the same thing.
