Ege Kocatepe
I recently made a space station, but it weighs around 1,600 TONS, including the acual engines and fuel tanks, and it doesnt launch! How can I fix this?
Foxster
1. Make it smaller or 2. Make it in parts, launch them, assemble in orbit. You know, like they really do 3. Use the cheat menu to set it into orbit Edited November 27, 2019 by Foxster
bewing
Or add moar boosters!
Fierce Wolf
Assemble a rocket so big, it actually pushes Kerbin downwards instead of moving. Yes, it might be bad for the ecosystem but you NEED that shinny thing in orbit (or rather, the planet will now orbit your station)
BeanThruster
I believe you have not to "fix" anything. You just need a launch TWR grater than one, that in your case is easier said than done. What about your TWR? To lift that weigth, you should total more than 16,000 kN, that is, something like 12 mainsail engines (or maybe 4-5 Mammoth) plus a collection of BIG boosters to ease the initial ascent phase. You don't have to calculate TWR by yourself, KSP is doing that for you. Check the engineer's report in VAB (the small wrench icon on the bottom right corner). Consider that an efficient ascent profile will probably need a launch TWR of 1.5 (maybe something more).
