Going to start doing cosmetic designs.

Hi, I am new to the KSP forums and a novice in KSP itself. So please take that into consideration

I've always been a 'builder' at heart though, I've played around in minecraft and built rediculous things like nyan cat and lifesize spacecrafts such as the GreatFox from Star Fox.

I've made alot of improvements, especially with the .17 tutorials. As with everyone else ALOT of failures, I had a build that got me to a gryo-syncronis orbit, but apperently I was abusing the fuel bug ><

Its a long video so points of interest (major build changes) are at 0:00, 9:00, 14:00, 18:00, 22:00, 26:30 (music too), 34:00(music too), 39:00 sneak preview of next video builds

So I was looking for some help on both some questions and then some requests for future builds

1. when using planes like such and using wierd placement of wings and such how much does it hurt,

Wing connectors confuse me too, I THINK that one side of it looks thicker then the other

2. Is anyone else doing the more unusual spacecraft from certain movies or etc so that I can view thier work

3. My voice has like... alot of bass, I am using an SM-58 microphone that goes into a preamp (yamaha audiogram 3) that goes into USB to my comp. Is there an easier way to make myself sound a little better?

4. How do I link my build that I have made to the forums to distribute it.

5. How do I attach a thumbnail screenshot to the forums here?

?. I actually had more but now that I have made the post

So I wanted to incorporate my creativity here on KSP, obviously. My first attempt was the Star Fox arwing model (my fan base has asked for more star fox good two-pher) and... obviously things don't go as planned. ><

End Archived.

There was a challenge thread a while back where people had to guess the identity of craft others had made. Wanted to put one of mine on there, but I can't find it. Your Arwing looks awesome though even if it doesn't fly too well, much better than anything I've come up with when trying to recreate a plane. I was working on a Firehawk attack jet from Command and Conquer earlier on, and got a design to fly, along with the ability the original has to enter the upper atmosphere using rocket engines. It's surprisingly stable for a craft without a tailfin, but I'd still not fly it for fun and its range is terrible. But it was still fun recreating a craft in such a way that it'd fly.

Here's a link to a picture of the 'actual' thing: http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/File:Firehawk_CC3_DevRend1.jpg

I didn't watch most of the video but that thing flies remarkably well.

Wings don't seem to have a back and front, although of course reversing a curved/triangular wing will shift the centre of lift. It's mainly the direction the flat surfaces face relative to direction of travel that determines how they deflect the airflow so the ones sloping down from the back of the machine will be deflecting the airflow upwards and creating a downwards force (i.e. sticking the plane to the runway).

... Do you think you could dum that down just slightly for me. I got most of it... I think. Kinda just the nod and just think you know what he is saying and then smile.
