How do I put .craft files into my KSP game on Linux?

So I downloaded a .craft file from one of Matt Lowne's videos, and I'm wondering how to export into my KSP game. I'm using Linux (specifically Ubuntu) as my operating system.

It goes in <KSProot>/saves/<name-of-your-savegame>/Ships/VAB

Optionally .../Ships/SPH if its a plane. (It doesnt matter, it will just load facing a weird direction if you get it wrong; you can just rotate it)
