I've had the same problem with Kaspersky too, every time the new patcher downloads it quarantines it..

Kaspersky is a good antivirus, but is known to over-react rather a lot. Add the patcher exe to exclusions from scanning for now, hopefully the false positive will be fixed in signature updates later.

I use Avast!, it's free, and has a silent mode, that only gets in your face if there is a virus, or other malicious file. It has had no problems with KSP, or other games.

Trouble is, it's a program that downloads files from the net and runs them, so it's really no surprise that AV has issues with it.

I'm sure N3X15 code is safe, but unless the AV vendors whitelist the Patcher there may be nothing we can do except to tell our AV to leave it alone ourselves.

I use malwarebytes and microsoft security essiantials! Both are great and free1

That's nice NannerManCan, but I think it'll only be helpful for N3X15 to know which AV are having issues with the patcher, so if your AV flags the patcher as potentially unsafe, let us know.
