LV-909 Terrier heat problem

Recommended Posts

hi, I've noticed this behavior in 2 different ships, both the ships had an LV-909 Terrier in the last stage and the engine is the only part that breaks cause of heat.
In previous ksp versions I've already landed on eve with similar design but I've never had heat problems with this particular engine or another.
maybe a bug?

It is a bug in 1.8.x.  There is some description on the bug-tracker https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/23924

Indeed. *grrrr* (Still not happy that this wasn't fixed in 1.8.1!)

Well, it's the second entry, the "_v2". And I think the offending numbers are the "21" that are the second-to-last numbers in each line, something like "0.8" is probably more appropriate.

But to use the ModuleManager patch, you first need to install the ModuleManager mod:

And then download the patch file from here, and put it in your KSP/GameData folder.

P.S. Note: I haven't tested either of these fixes myself (yet?).
